Adele dishes on secret wedding to husband Simon Konecki: 'I've found my next person'

Adele has confirmed her long-time boyfriend is actually her husband!

While discussing the meaning behind her hit 'Someone Like You', the 28-year-old singer revealed the audience:

"I was trying to remember how it was I felt at the beginning of the relationship that inspired that record because — as bad as a breakup can be, as bitter and horrible and messy as it can be — that feeling when you first fall for someone is the best feeling on Earth, and I am addicted to that feeling."

Shocking the crowd of 60,000, the vocal power-house went on to say "obviously, I can't go through with those feelings because I'm married now. I've found my next person."

There has been speculation that Adele and husband Simon Konecki made things official for a while now, with the couple spotted in Los Angeles wearing wedding bands.

Then, after winning a Grammy earlier this year, Adele concluded her speech with "Grammys, I appreciate it. The Academy, I love you. My manager, my husband and my son — you're the only reason I do it."

Neither Adele not her reps ever confirmed the rumours.

Both she and Simon have been pictured wearing wedding bands at events in recent weeks.

Last month, Heat magazine suggested Adele had organised a small ceremony, with just "family and close friends" in attendance.

"Her manager, Jonathan Dickins, was there, as well as her mum, Penny, and Simon's ten-year-old daughter Victoria."

They claimed she and Simon married at their £10m home in Los Angeles without any "fuss" and to keep it "under wraps".

The couple, who share 4-year-old son Angelo, have been together since 2011.
