Aaron Carter, Nick Carter's mother Jane Schneck arrested after dispute with husband over TV volume
Jane Schneck, who is the mother of Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter and late singer Aaron Carter, was reportedly arrested in Florida after a dispute with her husband over their television's volume.
The news was first reported by TMZ, and according to jail records obtained by Page Six, Schneck was charged with one count of battery on Friday night (Saturday in Australia).
Schneck was released from Hernando County Detention Centre's custody on Saturday morning (Sunday morning in Australia) after posting a $US100 (approx. $150) bond.

According to TMZ, law enforcement sources said the volume of their television bothered Schneck's husband, who had difficulty falling asleep because of it.
A verbal altercation over the issue allegedly turned physical, with Schneck – who the outlet claims had spent the evening drinking – allegedly grabbing her husband's wrist. Her husband then called the police.
Shortly after, law enforcement officers arrived at Schneck's home and arrested her for battery after obtaining video footage of the incident, which was recorded on her husband's phone.

Schneck is the mother of Nick Carter, 43, and Aaron Carter, who was found dead in his California home November 2022 aged 34.
In addition to sons Nick Carter and Aaron Carter, Schneck also welcomed daughters Bobbie Jean Carter, 41, Angel Carter, 35, and Leslie Carter, who died aged 25 in 2012, with her ex-husband Robert Gene Carter.
Schneck and her ex-husband split in 2003, and he died in 2017.

It's been a tumultuous time for Schneck and her children in recent months.
Following Aaron Carter's death, Nick Carter was also accused of battery in a lawsuit filed by former girl group star Melissa Schuman, who is suing him as well for sexual assault.
Nick Carter has adamantly denied all allegations levelled against him, and has filed a countersuit against Schuman and another accuser, Shannon Roth.
In Nick Carter's countersuit, he claims Schuman and Roth have been involved in a "conspiracy" against him.
