She was part of the original supermodel set of the 90s, even telling the world: "We don't wake up for less than $10,000 a day."

So, it's perhaps no surprise Linda Evangelista is still as outspoken 20 years later but this time about ageing and turning 50 in May next year.

The former supermodel, who is currently in Sydney filming Australia's Next Top Model, revealed she's embracing her wrinkles.

"I do want to age, that is my goal. I want to get old," Evangelista said. "I don’t care how old I look but I want to look good. I have wrinkles. I look my age."

However, she did add: "I’m not saying no ever to a facelift or plastic surgery."

It's been a while since Linda has been on our radar, with the model keeping a relatively low profile over the last decade.

This will be her TV debut in Australia, joining Foxtel's hit show as a guest, along with Kelly Osbourne, Jean Paul Gaultier and Alessandra Ambrosio.

"I’ve never done anything like this so this is very exciting for me. Having said that, I’m very nervous," she said. "I hate being judged so it was really hard to take that approach so I feel like I’m having fun with it but at the same time I am out of my element."
