Here are 35 songs you were probably obsessed with at some point in your life

This week marks 35 years for TODAY, Australia's longest running breakfast news program. And to celebrate, the team have put together an album with the biggest hits from each year.

TODAY teamed up with Sony to make the aptly titled 35 Years of Waking Up with Today featuring one hit from each year between 1982 and now.

Included on the compilation are songs like Michael Jackson's 'Billie Jean' (1983), John Farnham's 'You're The Voice' (1986), and Delta Goodrem's 'Born to Try' (2002).

TODAY entertainment reporter Richard Wilkins shared the exciting news on air this morning.

"Whether you turn it up in the car, or stream it over a meal it's guaranteed to make you smile and make you move and it will no doubt bring back a whole lot of memories," he explained, as he shared some of his biggest interviews over the last 35 years with stars like Miley Cyrus, Justin Timberlake, and Pink.

35 Years of Waking Up with Today is on sale today on iTunes and in all stores.
