Andy was shocked to see the 150-year-old beams holding up.

"Should we replace them?" Andy asked his builder. To which he replied, "Nah, she'll be right."

Andy did notice the beams were looking "a little furry" and joked he'd be using fiancée Bec's brand luibody razors to shave them down.

Andy and Bec purchased their Ravenswood home in Hawthorn, Melbourne in 2021 for $8.5 million.

The 150-year-old mansion had been vacant for more than a decade and required extensive renovations which is exactly what the couple and their building team have been planning and doing for the last four years.

Straight from the builders' mouths, they previously said: "We have a bet with Andy that he'll take us to the Melbourne Cup if we finish by August-September [next year]."

"By Melbourne Cup day 2026," said Andy's site manager Luke. "If he can get into the house by Melbourne Cup 2026, he's going to pick us up on the river in a boat and we're going to go to the races."

Andy and Bec's Ravenswood reno journey
