'Too far': Michelle and her husband butt heads over her mammoth troll doll collection on My Crazy Obsession on Stan
What happens when a harmless hobby has the potential to "tear a family apart"?
That was the case for Michelle Kerrins, who showed off her collection of over 3,000 troll dolls in an episode of My Crazy Obsession, which you can stream on Stan.

The gymnast – who has collected troll dolls since she was 10 – has rooms filled with all different kinds of trolls and makes sure to get at least three new trolls a week.
Michelle's husband Dean said that while she's always had an affinity for the peculiar looking toys, her obsession had become somewhat "overwhelming".

As part of her obsession, Michelle visits stores up to four times a week to look for new dolls, before spending hours cleaning her collection and updating her own personal troll inventory.
She also wears "the heck out of" a troll bikini – but only around the house. She won't wear it in chlorine at risk of damaging the pattern.
"She's always hunting them down. The weekends are pretty much set for that and nothing else," her husband said.
"I'm scared one of these times he might say, 'No more, no more!'" Michelle told cameras.

With the spare bedroom Michelle dedicated to her troll doll collection overflowing, she looked for another part of the home to house her growing stockpile of trolls.
Michelle had her eyes set on the basement, the same spot where husband Dean wanted to build his very own mancave.

"When you have a spare bedroom in your home and it's dedicated to a doll rather than a nice bedroom for somebody to come over and spend the night... I think that's too far," Dean told cameras.
His wife wasn't the only collector he thought had gone "too far".

As it turns out Michelle and Dean's 14-year-old daughter Delaney had also caught the collecting bug and had begun her own "roadkill collection".
"Delaney collects specimens from the street and puts them in jars," Michelle explained her daughter's hobby.

Dean had "tried to put a stop" to her obsession but found himself unsuccessful.
"It really bothers me that she has it. She has a hard time listening too, she's like her mother," Dean told cameras.
