Bryan Cranston retells hilarious behind-the-scenes story from the set of Breaking Bad while eating famous hot wings on Hot Ones
Bryan Cranston has retold a hilarious behind-the-scenes story from the set of Breaking Bad that will surprise even long-time fans of the show.
The actor won four Emmy Awards for his role as Walter White, a chemistry teacher that discovers he has cancer and decides to get into the meth-making business to repay his medical debts.
Given the premise of the series, blue methamphetamines featured heavily on the show. But for years fans have wondered what the "TV drugs" are actually made of.
In a resurfaced video from Hot Ones, host Sean Evans was curious about the same thing and asked Cranston to clear up the confusion.
It was then that Cranston recalled the time he and co-star Aaron Paul decided to taste the product themselves.

Bryan Cranston revealed that the TV meth we saw on Breaking Bad was simply rock candy. 9Now
Cranston explained that the 'TV meth' was simply blue-tinted rock candy.
"I never tasted it until one night, we were working in our dungeon downstairs, our lab," he began.
"And I see Aaron Paul reach into our product, a handful of our product, and he starts throwing the methamphetamine in his mouth. I go, 'What are you doing? You can't eat the product'."

Cranston continued to say that after 17 hours of work Paul was consuming the rock candy to give him a much-need sugar high.
"[Paul] goes, 'I'm getting so tired.' I said, 'You're really getting a high off this?' It's like, 'Well, it's sugar.' And he goes, 'You've tasted it.' I go, 'No, I haven't tasted it.' He goes, 'Oh, you should taste it.' I go, 'No, I don't think so,'" Cranston said.

At first Cranston refused to try the rock candy, but after some back-and-forth between him and Paul he eventually caved "just to shut him up".
"I tasted one and it was like, 'That's pretty good.' And so they rolled the camera and he and I are just talking and eating all the methamphetamine," Cranston laughed.
During the viral talk show Hot Ones, celebrity guests are asked hot questions while eating increasingly hotter wings.
While the TV meth seemed to go down easy for Cranston, the spicy wings weren't as forgiving.
