'I don't know what he'll think': Watch the moment Tammy Slaton meets her boyfriend Jerry in person for the first time on 1000-Lb Sisters

Weighing more than 300kg, Tammy Slaton's life has become increasingly difficult.

She's been left unable to work and can't go out alone, but that hasn't stopped her love life from thriving.

In an episode of 1000-Lb Sisters – which you can watch for free on 9Now – Tammy revealed her boyfriend Jerry Sykes was making an eight-hour drive across the country to meet her face-to-face for the first time.

"I met my boyfriend Jerry online a few years ago in a BBW group," Tammy said.

She went on to explain a BBW group is an online community for "big beautiful women".

"I'm not a BBW, I'm an SSBBW – super sized big beautiful woman," she chuckled.

While Tammy was buzzing over Jerry's upcoming arrival, her sister Amy had some reservations.

"I've met a couple of Tammy's exes but just online," Amy told cameras.

"I didn't like them. They were leading her on."

Worried that history would repeat itself, Amy was concerned that Jerry wouldn't show up like he promised to.

"I don't want him to stand her up because it will really depress Tammy."

Tammy remained hopeful for Jerry to meet her family.

"I want my family and Jerry to get along. My family means everything to me, it might not look like it sometimes, but they are my world," Tammy confessed to cameras.

"But they hated my ex. So I'm kind of nervous for them to meet [Jerry]."

Tammy revealed that she and Jerry had been talking about getting married. But she feared Jerry, who is from North Carolina, might not like her home in Kentucky.

"I'm freaking out a little bit, I don't know what he's going to think of me, I don't know what he's going to think of Kentucky," Tammy fretted.

After much anticipation, Tammy and Jerry finally met.

"What up baby girl," he greeted Tammy.

A bashful Tammy "couldn't believe that [Jerry] was finally here".

"Well I'll pinch you, it ain't no dream," Jerry joked.

Talking to cameras, 45-year-old Jerry shared what struck him most about Tammy.

"Tammy's personality stuck out to me and her looks attracted me to her.

"I love all size women."

Now that Tammy and Jerry's first meeting had gone smoothly, it was time for Jerry to meet the family.
