WA woman on child sex offences

A 38-year-old woman who worked for the WA Department of Corrective Services has been charged with having sex with a teenage detainee.
The woman is accused of engaging in consensual sexual acts between February and May 2017 with the 17-year-old who was in detention.
She's been charged with three counts of indecent dealing of a child over 16 years by a person in authority and one count of procuring a child over 16 years.

The woman from Halls Head in Mandurah, south of Perth, will appear in Armadale Magistrates Court on Tuesday, WA police said.
