WA teenager charged over motorbike crash

A 15-year-old boy from Western Australia is facing a string of charges including two counts of dangerous driving causing grievous bodily harm after a serious crash which injured two other teenagers in the north of the state.

The boy was allegedly riding an unregistered motorbike with two passengers, a 16-year-old and 14-year-old boy, when he hit a lamp post in South Hedland.

The pair were thrown from the bike and had to be airlifted to Perth with serious leg injuries while the driver will appear before the South Hedland Children's Court on September 1.
