An 18-year-old woman has been denied bail after she was charged with aggravated grievous bodily harm over the death of her four-month-old baby in Western Australia's South West region.
The baby was brought to Bunbury Regional Hospital on May 26 and transferred to Princess Margaret Hospital for Children in Perth where the infant died from serious injuries two days later.
Cassandra Rose Doohan appeared in Perth Magistrates Court on Wednesday where she was remanded in custody to return to court on July 19, and it is possible charges could be upgraded.
