AAP
Lives and homes are in danger from a bushfire near a residential estate, northeast of Perth.
The fire started on Tuesday afternoon and is burning in bushland towards the Rugged Hills Residential Estate, in West Toodyay.
An emergency warning has been issued for several roads in the estate and residents have been told they need to act immediately to survive.

The out of control and unpredictable fire is moving in a north easterly direction, the Department of Fire and Emergency Services says.
Earlier on Tuesday, emergency warnings were downgraded to a watch and act for residents in the southern part of Bullsbrook between Warbrook Road, Railway Parade and Maralla Road.
