AAP
A truck loaded with explosives has caught fire and blown up, and its driver is missing in a remote area of Western Australia.
Police were notified of the explosion about 5pm on Friday near the small town of Sandstone, but could not find the driver, 67-year-old Tony Hickey, in the truck or nearby.
Police are continuing their land search for Mr Hickey on Saturday, while a specialist forensic team is investigating the cause of the explosion.
