WA campaign to get people 'Off The Tracks'

In the past year, five people have died or been seriously injured on Perth's train lines, and another 33 have had near misses, prompting the state government to launch a safety campaign.

The Stay Off The Tracks campaign urges passengers to contact a Transperth guard instead of trying to retrieve lost belongings such as mobile phones from the tracks.

Posters have already popped up on the Armadale line and will be displayed across the Transperth network at pedestrian crossings, station platforms, and on seats, walls and fencing.
