Total fire ban in place for large parts of Western Australia

A total fire ban has been declared for Port Hedland and large parts of the West Australian coast on Thursday.
The ban is in place for Port Hedland, Pilbara, midwest Gascoyne, and the shires of Carnarvon, Shark Bay and East Pilbara.

Severe fire danger warnings are also in place for Geraldton, coastal parts of the central west, and central and southern parts of the interior.
