'Skitching' skateboarder dies in hospital

A skateboarder has died after he fell while holding on to a car as it drove down a road in Perth's northern suburbs.

The 23-year-old man hit his head on the Landsdale road on Saturday afternoon and died in hospital from critical head injuries on Tuesday.

The 25-year-old driver of the car is assisting police with their inquiries but major crash investigators would also like to speak to any witnesses.
