Pilbara man charged over child sex abuse

A 61-year-old man who was a foster carer in WA's remote Pilbara region has been charged with sexually abusing children over a 22-year period.
The Onslow man, who was a foster carer between 1975 and 1991, allegedly abused two girls who were both aged 12 at the time of the first offence.
The allegations of child sexual abuse occurred between 1970 and 1992 at the Gilliamia Hostel in Onslow.

He was due to appear in the Karratha Magistrates Court on Thursday on three counts of indecent dealing with a child under the age of 14.
