A 65-year-old Perth woman kicked and punched during a violent home invasion has suffered a serious cut to her head and bruising.
The woman was in her Armadale home about 5pm on Wednesday when a man entered through the front door, demanded she hand over her car keys, bashed her and then stole her handbag and car.
Police say the intruder damaged several vehicles after speeding off along the Albany Highway before abandoning the stolen car and running away.
