Man charged over fatal WA crash
WA police have charged the driver of a car that crashed near Collie overnight, killing one passenger and injuring two others.
The 21-year-old woman died after the car she was travelling in veered off Mungalup Road about five kilometres from Collie about 3.20am on Saturday.
Two men aged 20 and 19 were taken to Bunbury hospital.
The car's 23-year-old driver was taken to Collie hospital with minor injuries.
Police said on Saturday he has been charged with dangerous driving occasioning death, dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm and dangerous driving causing bodily harm.
He has also been charged with having a blood alcohol content in excess of 0.08.
The man will appear before Collie Magistrates Court on June 10.
