McGowan denies investigation into leaks

A WA government mole is still facing expulsion for deliberately undermining the Labor party, but the premier denies there is any investigation into document leaks and insists he is moving on from the controversy.

Premier Mark McGowan says the current level of commitment in the caucus is "unsurpassed" despite several internal documents being leaked to the opposition.

"There's not really any inquiry or investigation going on. I'm moving on, I'm worried about far more important issues than that," he told reporters on Tuesday.

"I mentioned that whoever it was would be expelled if they were deliberately undermining the group.

"I just hope that whoever's done it now recognises that the matter is over and they shouldn't do it anymore."

The latest leak came from a two-day caucus retreat last week and is understood to be a photograph of a whiteboard with issues for discussion at the gathering.

Opposition Leader Mike Nahan has previously said he received information from an email account.
