A young man has been found not guilty over an attack on an event site manager at a music festival in Perth.

Jamie David Foster had been on trial in the WA District Court accused of causing grievous bodily harm to Aaron Gill at the Wonderland festival at Langley Park in December 2015.

During the trial, Mr Gill testified that he heard a "massive crack" when he was kicked to the head while trying to stop a crowd from knocking down a fence, but Mr Foster claimed the older man was the aggressor.
