A 46-year-old man who allegedly told police he had just stabbed someone in Perth's CBD has been charged with unlawful wounding and attempted armed robbery.
The accused man was found on Hay Street near Barrack Street about 7.30pm on Monday, while his 50-year-old alleged victim was found near Shafto Lane with several wounds and is currently in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
While at the crime scene, police say a 24-year-old man alleged the same offender threatened him with a knife and demanded money at an ATM.
