Man charged after woman stabbed in Perth

A 65-year-old man has been charged with stabbing a woman he knew at a home in Perth's east.
The 49-year-old woman was attacked a Belmont residence on Tuesday afternoon and police were called after she was seen on the street with serious injuries.
She is in hospital in a serious but stable condition while the man, who has been charged with acts intending to cause grievous bodily harm, will appear in the Perth Magistrates Court later on Wednesday.
