Elderly woman dies after falling from car

A 73-year-old woman has died after falling from a moving vehicle on a highway in Perth's north-east.

The woman was a front seat passenger in a 4WD being driven by a man on Great Northern Highway in Millendon around 4.45pm on Thursday when she fell onto the road and suffered serious injuries, dying in hospital a short time later, police said.

Major Crash investigators are calling for information from anyone who may have seen the vehicle before or at the time of the incident.
