Car on wrong side of freeway before crash

A woman who drove down the wrong side of a freeway and crashed head-on with another car, badly injuring a teenager, has been charged with dangerous driving.
The 44-year-old Ridgewood woman smashed into another car on the Kwinana Freeway in Salter Point on May 3, police say.
The front seat passenger of the other car, a 19-year-old woman from Viveash, received life threatening injuries.

The 44-year-old woman has been charged with Dangerous Driving Occasioning Grievous Bodily Harm and Dangerous Driving Occasioning Bodily Harm.
She will appear before the Perth Magistrates Court on May 28.
