See how your electorate voted in the Voice referendum

Australians have overwhelmingly voted against an Indigenous Voice to Parliament, with all states and territories apart from the ACT producing a majority No vote.

With vote counting still ongoing, the overall vote count sits at a 39 per cent for Yes and 61 per cent for No.

How electorates voted is not directly relevant to the final outcome of the referendum, which takes into account states as a whole, but the results from specific electorates do reveal voting trends.

They show there was a clear regional and metropolitan divide, with the highest Yes votes recorded in inner urban electorates, such as Melbourne, which saw 93 per cent voting for the change.

It was in outer suburban and regional electorates where the lowest support for the Voice was recorded, the lowest electorates were all in regional Queensland.

Almost 70 per cent of Queenslanders delivered a No vote, which was followed by South Australia, where 64 per cent did.

About 63 per cent of Western Australians voted No, along with Tasmanians at 59 per cent.

In Victoria about 55 per cent of voters rejected the Voice.

It was nearly 60 per cent in NSW.

The Northern Territory sat at 60 per cent voting No.

The referendum needed an overall majority in least four states to pass.
