Tara joined the video team at 9news.com.au in 2017, where she helped to implement a new approach to mobile-first explainer videos as part of the site relaunch.

In her role as head of visual content at nine.com.au she oversees all visual assets and executes the site’s core visual brand identity.

She has covered a number of major stories with Nine including federal budget lock up at parliament house, the death of Queen Elizabeth II from the ground in London, several federal and state elections, podcast series, royal weddings and the daily breaking updates during the Covid pandemic.

As part of this coverage, she has scripted, produced and edited explainer videos, produced homepage imagery, infographics and social graphics, vertical videos, sponsored campaigns, branding suites and a host of interactive, data-led graphics.

Prior to working at Nine, Tara worked at Bauer Media across their women’s lifestyle brands as a video producer, working on sponsored and native content for major beauty clients.
