'It's like Christmas': VCE results released after tough two years
For identical twins, receiving an identical ATAR score of 91.0 was a dream come true.
Teia and Gemima Herft were among 50,000 Victorian students who woke up at 7am to learn about their well deserved scores.
"It feels like Christmas morning, it's very exciting," Teia said.

After 13 long years of schooling, 39 students achieved the highest possible rank of 99.95.
Of those students, 31 were boys and eight were girls.
However overall, girls outperformed the boys, posting an average of 71.23 compared to 69.3.
The most common subject combinations used by 316 students included English, Further Mathematics, Psychology, Biology and Health and Human Development.
The average score across the state was 70.33, up from last year's 69.26.

It hasn't been an easy journey for students over the past few years, with the past two interrupted by COVID-19.
Among students learning their results today was 17-year-old Mahalakshme Thiagarajan who scored a near-perfect score.
"I had butterflies in my stomach when I was opening my results this morning," she told 9News.
"But as soon as I opened it I was so happy, it was a sense of relief and it was smiles all around in our house this morning."

The teen's result was 99.5, meaning she is well on her way to achieving her dream of being a doctor.
Students will now turn their minds to the next step, whether that is university or the workforce.
