Man charged with murder over Victorian caravan park stabbing
A 28-year-old has been charged with murder after allegedly stabbing another man to death in an early morning fight at a caravan park in rural Victoria.
Multiple people called police when the violent altercation broke out at Merrigum Caravan Park, near Shepparton in the Goulburn Valley, about 3.10am on Saturday.

They found one man injured and the other, identified as Papua New Guinea man Samuel, unresponsive.
The 30-year-old couldn’t be revived and was declared dead at the scene.
The 28-year-old was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and arrested once he was released.
He is scheduled to appear at Shepparton Magistrates’ Court tomorrow after being charged with murder on Sunday afternoon.
