Two men charged after failed ram raid attempt on Gold Coast

Two men have been charged after an attempted break and enter at a Gold Coast motorbike shop on the morning of March 16.

Police will allege between 2.50am and 3.40am the men made several attempts to reverse a truck to smash their way through the front door of the Team Moto property in Nerang.

CCTV footage was released on Monday revealing the would-be thieves trying to figure out how to gain entry into the Lawrence Drive store and then proceeding to make rude gestures at the camera.

Four of the hooded robbers had covered faces except one who apparently missed the memo and was very recognisable on camera.

No property was reported stolen however it is alleged damage was caused to the front of the building and a front window.

Two Munruben men, aged 21 and 23, have been charged with several offences and will face court on April 8.
