Tim Davies' biggest highlights from 2024

Tim Davies has had a fun and exciting 2024
Timmy is no stranger to living out of a suitcase and his adventures reporting the weather this year have taken him to all sorts of amazing places.
Timmy's mango-eating attempt leaves his co-hosts in stitches
Mango season is officially here and what better way to cool off this summer than indulging in the juicy tropical fruit?
Timmy was lucky enough to visit Townsville this year and meet some of the local growers and sample their produce.
But when the weather presenter tried out a new way of eating the humble mango, things quickly went pear-shaped.
Timmy gets his dance on in Tweed Heads
The Today weather presenter was live at the NSW Northern Rivers, where Dance Force Academy students were pulling out some of their most impressive moves for viewers.
So naturally that feel good energy rubbed off on our friend Timmy and he had a crack after learning some of the choreography.
Timmy's risque Halloween costume leaves hosts blushing
Timmy went through a few costume changes this year for Halloween, but one really had his co-hosts blushing when he appeared sans flesh during a weather cross.
"Oh, whoah! Put some clothes on, oh my God! The humanity," a startled Karl said.
"Timmy, I really don't know where to look!"
Timmy 'Flips Out' on live television
Timmy is used to epic adventures overseas, so on this morning, he was happy to be back on home soil, presenting the national weather from his hometown in Sydney's Sutherland Shire this morning.
The Today presenter was live at Flip Out Caringbah, a recently renovated staple of the Shire the kids have been loving these school holidays.
And being a big kid himself, Timmy made the most of the venue's facilities, including trampolines, climbing walls, a new wipe out challenge and Australia's first "air court".
Timmy's noodle-making in Japan raises some eyebrows
Earlier in the year, Timmy presented the weather from Japan's second biggest city, Yokohama.
He visited the world's first ramen noodle-themed museum and when he saw the "bouncing noodles" at the front entrance, he knew it was going to be an interesting morning.
"I learned some traditional and not so traditional methods to make some ramen," he said.
Timmy dances with Belinda Russell on Today Extra
The hosts met Justin Neto, a New York dance instructor who has gone viral on social media for the fun, energetic dance tutorials he posts online.
And with three million followers on Instagram and millions of views on TikTok, how could Tim and Belinda not join him for a boogie?
Timmy visits France and lives like royalty
The Palais de Versailles is more commonly known as the principal residence of King Louis XIV, XV, XVI and Queen Mary Antoinette during the 1600s and 1700s.
But our own Prince Timmy got the chance to stay there during his tour of France in July.
"There is no experience like this anywhere in the world, I promise you that," he said.
Timmy visits the Moulin Rouge
During his visit to France, Timmy celebrated Bastille Day underneath fireworks at the Eiffel Tower, got to enjoy the culinary delights of the country and even did the typical bicycle ride through town in a red beret.
But the opportunity to go backstage at the iconic Moulin Rouge theatre and even perform alongside some of the venue's esteemed dancers was definitely a bucket list moment.
Timmy visits the Magical Kingdom
Timmy disappeared earlier this year, last seen in the back of a taxi headed for Sydney's International Airport.
But by the next show, it was revealed he was live in Disneyland Tokyo!
"I'm just here in the happiest place on Earth, guys," Tim told his co-hosts.
We’d love to hear from you
