Meantime, Amanda Seyfried has appeared on the Jimmy Fallon show, addressing rumours about Mamma Mia! 3 and the possibility of a pop co-star.

"It's absolutely going to happen, honestly, I can see the future and it looks like before 2038 we're going to be on the island," she said.

Fallon addressed rumours Sabrina Carpenter could play her daughter and Seyfried said she loved the idea.

"Listen, I'm ageing as everybody does, naturally, it's fine, it's great, I love it, but wouldn't it be fun if somebody said (Carpenter) was a fan of the musical?," she said.
