We have some sad news out of the US this morning, with the passing of Carl Dean, the long time husband of country music queen, Dolly Parton.

The pair were together nearly 60 years in amazing relationship where he stayed pretty much behind the scenes while she was front and centre.

Of course, she often said the key to a long, healthy marriage was to stay out of each other's hair but they were a lovely couple and we pay our respects this morning, Carl Dean, rest in peace, sir.
