Today reporter becomes Hollywood stunt driver
Behind every great Hollywood blockbuster are the stunts and stunt performers who make the magic happen.
They leap from burning buildings, drive cars off cliffs and put their bodies on the line to make movie magic.
And for the past six decades, the Ford Mustang has been behind some of the biggest road stunts in film history, so to celebrate - Today US correspondent Lauren Tomasi got behind the wheel to have a crack at being a stunt driver.

"Not only is the car celebrating its 60th anniversary on our roads, the Mustang is also marking six decades on screens, making its film debut in 1964's Goldfinger," Lauren said.
"Now it's synonymous with high-octane action and Hollywood."
Under the close supervision of a trained professional, Lauren got behind the wheel to see if she had what it takes.
"I don't know if a career as a stunt woman is ahead of me, but you never know until you try," she said.

Since its '60s debut, the Mustang has featured in blockbusters including the Fast and the Furious franchise, both the original Gone in 60 Seconds and it's remake, Death Race, Death Proof and Transformers to name a few.
And with Mustang about to release a special edition Dark Horse this year, there is already a long queue eager to get their hands on it before it's even landed on Aussie shores.
