What's happening in entertainment news today

Season two of Prime Video's hit post-apocalyptic series, The Last of Us, is still days away from screening.

But the show based on the best-selling videogame series has already been renewed for season three.

The second season sees the return of stars, Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, as they battle to survive against infected monsters and will premiere on Monday, April 14.

And we have a casting update on the upcoming Pride and Prejudice series.

Past big screen iterations of the fabulous Jane Austen novel have featured the likes of Colin Firth, Matthew MacFadyen, Sam Riley and the great Laurence Olivier in the role of the swoon-worthy Mr Darcy.

Now, casting directors are reportedly in talks with none other than Slow Horses and Dunkirk star, Jack Lowden, to portray the character.

We've also heard that Daisy Edgar-Jones could be playing Elizabeth Bennet, which would be a good choice, but it's all just chit chat at the moment.
