Glock pistol, drugs seized as man charged over Central Coast shooting
A 20-year-old man has been charged with shooting with intent to murder after another man was gunned down in front of his partner on the NSW Central Coast.
The man was arrested at Gosford train station about 8.45am on Thursday, a day after the shooting at Berkeley Vale.

Police allege cocaine and cannabis were found during a search of the 20-year-old.
Hours later, investigators searched a home in Penrith, in Sydney’s west, where they allegedly found a Glock pistol, eight rounds of ammunition and other items linked to the investigation.
The arrest follows Wednesday morning’s shooting at a home on Lakedge Avenue, where a 37-year-old man was shot in the hand and torso at around 6.15am.
Police believe a gunman entered the property and confronted the man before a fight broke out and at least two shots were fired.
The victim’s partner was inside the home and witnessed the attack but was not injured.
The 37-year-old was treated at the scene before being airlifted to hospital. Police said he remains in a stable condition.

“We heard a big bang, and then one of my customers came running out of their house saying that her boyfriend had been shot,” one witness said.
Investigators previously said they believe the shooting was targeted.
Tuggerah Lakes Police District Commander Chad Gillies said on Wednesday investigators could not confirm any connection to underworld violence in Sydney.
“It is an absolute concern when people are brandishing firearms and using them in these sorts of situations,” Gillies told reporters.
“We are focused on identifying those responsible.
“This is a rare occurrence in this particular area, this type of violence.”
The 20-year-old has been charged with a string of offences.
They include shooting with intent to murder, firing a gun with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, possessing an unregistered pistol and ammunition, two drug possession offences and driving while his licence was cancelled.
He was refused bail and is due to appear in court on Friday.
