A ute was dumped on a Sydney golf course after two alleged police pursuits through the city’s Eastern Suburbs on Saturday night.

The alleged chase began when the driver of the black ute allegedly failed to stop for a roadside RBT on Anzac Parade in Malabar at about 7.15 pm.

The ute was dumped near one of the holes on a Sydney golf course. Today

The ute allegedly hit 100km/h, which double the speed limit, and allegedly drove on the wrong side of the road.

It sped into The Cost Golf and Recreation Club, a golf club in Little Bay, and police called off the chase.

The ute was abandoned on one of the fairways, with the driver and a passenger running away.

At 8pm, the driver was spotted in a different car, a white hatchback, driving along Anzac Parade in Little Bay police say.

When the driver allegedly failed to stop, police started a chase onto Solarch Avenue, a one-way street.

The driver tried to reverse out and allegedly hit a police car. There were no injuries, and the car only received minor damage.

A 38-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman, were arrested
