Homicide squad probes apparent stabbing death in south-west Sydney
The homicide squad has been called in to investigate the death of a man found with stab wounds at a home in south-west Sydney.
Police were called to Lakemba Street in Belmore about 9pm on Saturday over concern for somebody's welfare.
They said they found the body of a man in his 30s "with a number of stab wounds" on arrival.

A 24-year-old man who was also at the scene was taken to Concord Hospital under police guard and later questioned at Campsie police station.
As of early this morning, no charges had been laid and the body had not been formally identified.
The State Crime Command's Homicide Squad was helping Campsie police investigate as inquiries continued.
