Sam Wood’s former multimillion-dollar fitness empire the 28 Program has officially rebranded as the reality star faces charges of domestic violence.

The 46-year-old’s former business is now known as evvr, with the brand shedding its name weeks after it cut all ties with Wood, who denies the charges laid against him.

Evvr unveiled its new look with a post on Instagram and a refreshed website.

The company has also ditched its black and orange branding in favour of a new purple look.

It also unveiled a new slogan: “evvr.body, evvr.day, evvr.where.”

“In the coming weeks, you’re going to see a new name and a fresh, new look,” pilates instructor Alice Bennett said in a promotional video.

“We are taking all of the magic that we have built and made here together. Your favourite trainers, your favourite workouts that you know and love, and most importantly, this amazing community.

“A new look, a new chapter, but with the same heart. This is evvr.”

Wood remains in custody after being charged with two domestic violence offences, assault occasioning bodily harm and strangulation in a domestic setting.

He was denied bail earlier this month after a Queensland court heard he had allegedly pushed and choked his wife Snezana at a luxury apartment in Noosa on October 3.

It is alleged Ms Wood told police that she thought “that this was it, that her life was going to end”.

Wood is defending the charges.

Wood’s legal team has filed a bail application in Queensland’s Supreme Court and a hearing is scheduled to take place on November 4.

After finding fame on The Bachelor in 2015, Wood launched 28 By Sam Wood and later sold it in 2022 for reportedly more than $70 million but remained the face of the online platform.

Parent company DBG Health announced they had “terminated all arrangements” with Wood following the allegations. Soon after, fitness and wellness celebrities, primarily women, began distancing themselves.

“DGB Health does not tolerate domestic violence in any form, and our thoughts are with people impacted by it,” the company said in a statement.

“As the matter is before the court, DGB Health will make no further comment.”

28 Group’s chief operating officer Mark Watkin would lead the business in Wood’s absence, the business said.

“We have all been shocked and saddened by the matters involving Sam Wood,” Watkin said in a separate statement.

A Wood family statement was posted on social media following the charges.

“This is a difficult time for all of us,” the statement, posted to both Wood and Ms Wood’s accounts, read.

“We are working through this as a family and are thoroughly co-operating with the authorities.”
