Xenophon wants funds for intersection
AAP
Independent Senator Nick Xenophon is taking his campaign into the southern Adelaide seat of Boothby, calling for funds to upgrade a congested intersection.
Senator Xenophon says 52,000 cars a day use the dogleg junction which links Springbank, Daws and Goodwood roads, the site of 244 accidents over the past 15 years.
He says realigning the intersection, at a cost of $30 million, will fix the traffic bottleneck which is a "dog's breakfast".
