Elderly couple found dead inside Adelaide townhouse

Two people have been found dead inside an Adelaide townhouse, according to South Australian police.

Emergency services, including police and firefighters were called to Gilles Street, in Adelaide’s CBD, about noon.

They found the elderly man and woman dead inside the building.

Police are still investigating.

"Gilles Street will be closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic until further notice," a South Australian police spokesman said.
