Two bidders vying for SA road project

Two bidders have been shortlisted for a major road project in Adelaide.

Gateway South, a joint venture between Fulton Hogan Construction and Laing O'Rourke, and Lend Lease are vying for the $620 million Darlington upgrade, which will improve traffic flows along South Road.

The project will create 370 jobs during the construction phase with the work to start later this year and be completed by the end of 2018, South Australian Transport Minister Stephen Mullighan says.
