Thieves target RSPCA shops in SA
AAP
The RSPCA says its South Australian thrift shops are being targeted by thieves with five break-ins over the past five weeks.
The robberies have cost the organisation more than $10,000 from property damage and stock losses and more money is being spent to upgrade security, chief executive Tim Vasudeva says.
"With this money, we could have desexed, microchipped, and vaccinated 150 cats, kittens, dogs and puppies, or kept one of our rescue officers on the road for more than four weeks," Mr Vasudeva said.
