SA hay fire contained but still burning

A fire has destroyed a shed and hay bales and has burnt through about 15 hectares of land in South Australia's southeast.

The Country Fire Service contained the blaze on a property at Mount Schank in about an hour on Tuesday but the hay is expected to continue to burn for the next two days.

The fire caused about $130,000 damage and a smoke warning has been issued for local residents.
