Man to be charged over Molotov cocktail

A 31-year-old man is expected to be charged with arson after a Molotov cocktail was allegedly thrown at a house in Adelaide's north.

Police say the explosive device hit the roofs of two neighbouring properties at Davoren Park on Friday morning, causing only minor fire damage to one of the homes.

Officers searched the area and arrested the man nearby.

He is likely to be refused bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court.
