Body found in search for missing SA man

The body of a man reported missing after his boat capsized on the Coorong, in South Australia's southeast, has been found by police.

Police and emergency services rushed to the area on Friday morning after a man approached campers at Long Point on Friday morning saying his boat had overturned during the night and a second man was missing.

Local patrols, water operations officers, the police helicopter, State Emergency Service volunteers and the Sea Rescue squadron conducted a search.

Just before 12pm the body of the 72-year-old Tailem Bend man was located by the helicopter.

The surviving man, a 71-year-old man from the local area, was taken to Meningie Hospital for treatment.
