Girl dies in SA vehicle rollover

A 13-year-old girl has died in hospital after the four-wheel-drive she was a passenger in rolled in South Australia's Riverland.

Police say the 17-year-old female driver lost control on Maggea Road at Holder Siding near Waikerie just after 10am on Saturday and the vehicle flipped and rolled several times.

The girl was airlifted to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a critical condition but died on Saturday night.

The driver and two other passengers, both 13-year-old boys, all from the Riverland, were also airlifted to hospital in Adelaide for treatment.

Crash investigators have inspected the scene of the crash.
