Father in court over daughter's murder

A man charged with the murder of his daughter has made no application for bail during a bedside court hearing.

Petrit Lekaj came before Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on Friday charged with the murder of his daughter Sabrina.

The 20-year-old was found dead in a car near their suburban Kidman Park home earlier this week.

Her father was found next to her in the car with a serious abdominal injury and is being treated in the Royal Adelaide Hospital.

The 49-year-old has been remanded in custody to appear in Adelaide Magistrates Court in January.
