Bushfire burning in SA's mid-north

An uncontrolled bushfire is burning in South Australia's mid-north, potentially threatening the safety of people in the area.

The Country Fire Service says the blaze is burning in stubble at Collinsfield, to the west of the Augusta Highway, and is travelling north-west.

The authority is warning people in the vicinity to leave now if they are not prepared to handle the fire and if they have a safe path to do so.
