Boeing sets up SA office

Global aerospace giant Boeing has opened a South Australian office.

The company has moved into Technology Park, in Adelaide's north, with its operations to support the arrival of eight Boeing P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft at the RAAF Edinburgh Base.

The first P-8A is due to fly in to Edinburgh in early 2017 and Defence Industries Minister Martin Hamilton-Smith says their arrival will cement South Australia as the centre of Australia's airborne maritime surveillance.
